Serving up award-winning burgers, fries, and milkshakes since 1988, Frugals is a tiny snack shack with no indoor seating and a busy 2-lane drive-thru.

I tried The 1/4 LB Cheeseburger, cooked to order, garnished with pickles, onions, and lettuce, and dressed with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on a toasted sesame seed bun.

1 Aesthetics — Meh. Crushed bun, unmelted cheese, shredded lettuce. 5.0

2 Flavor — Delicious, and smelled great, too! My patty was beautifully seasoned and charred. Loved the flavor combination and proportions of sandwich components and condiments. Would be improved with the addition of a ripe tomato slice. 8.0

3 Mouthfeel — Not bad! The meat was firm and juicy, and the sliced onion and pickle added a satisfying crunch. 7.5

4 Quality/Freshness — Good. Would be even better with a higher quality bun. 7.5

5 Integrity — Solid, except for renegade lettuce. 7.5

6 Atmosphere — Merely a drive-thru, no seating. 5.5

7 Service — Great! Fast and friendly. 8.0

10 Value — Wow! This place is aptly named. $4.93 is an incredible value! 9.5

What a find! Imma hit this joint on the reg. Recommended.
