A Lewis County favorite for over fifty years, Bill & Bea’s Drive In lives up to its stellar reputation.

Lauded for their high quality, made-to-order burgers and shakes, this small yet mighty restaurant does a booming lunch business, so the drive-through can become congested at times. No worries. SqueetSquatch recommends dining inside, where you can fully appreciate the cuteness of the old-timey decor and youthful waitstaff.

My Mushroom & Swiss Burger with all the fixins was served with a smile and well worth the wait.

1 Aesthetics — I love when that juicy burger arrives at the table hot and steaming, with the cheese still melting, yet the thick tomato slice and iceberg lettuce are still cold and crispy. That’s a beautiful sight. 7.0

2 Flavor — The mushrooms enhance this perfectly charred burger with a mouthwatering umami quality. Delicious! 7.5

3 Mouthfeel — Very good. The burger patty was just right to the bite. I wouldn’t mind a bit more crunch, perhaps add some sliced pickle or onion. 7

4 Quality/Freshness — Very fresh and tasty! 8

5 Integrity — Weak. Asymmetrical patty, assembled lop-sided, on a bun that was crushed and crumbling. 3.5

6 Atmosphere — Cute, clean, classic. 8

7 Service — Excellent. 9.0

8 Satisfaction — Tasty, left me wanting more. 6.5

9 Creativity/Uniqueness — A reliable, familiar classic. 6.5

10 Value — Not bad. 7.5

A classic roadside burger stand with delicious food and friendly service. Recommended.

Total Score: 70.6
